Out of curiosity, is anyone here making money shooting video? Even a little?

I was thinking it may be useful to some members for me to post my experiences of editing video on a Linux platform here, documenting what I miss, what I prefer and why, what software I use, the problems I come up against and how I get over them, if I do.

It's been over a month and I'm still using Linux as my primary operating system. This weekend I began work on an End of Year newsletter/report for one of my clients that I'm putting together using Scribus. So far, so good!
