For sale:  Canon T1i (500D) in almost new condition, with 18-55mm f3.5 - 5.6 EF-S IS lens.  Cosmetically perfect with no marks or scuffs.  Lens has Hoya HMC supermultilayercoated filter on from day one, and LCD has Giotto/Schott multilayer coated glass protector on.

LCD is brighter, multi angle viewing and is the viewfinder in video mode.

Comes in original box, with original battery and charger, manuals and all originally included accessories.

Also comes with 3 extra batteries and an extra charger, and I'll toss in one 8GB SanDisk Extreme III SDHC card...And David Busch's excellent color illustrated book on the T1i which is what the manual should have been.

Video mode has 3 resolutions:  1920x1080p but at a non standard 20fps (so I never used this mode).  1280x720 30p, this looks smooth with solid color tones and plenty of definition, edited in with 1920x1080 footage shot with my Canon HF100's in cine mode and blended well.  And a 640x480 SD mode I never used.

Video is fully automatic but there are two "workarounds" for manual aperture control.

My price is $675, plus $25 for UPS 2 Day Air in the Continental US.

One of the "workarounds" is a manual Nikkor 50mm f1.8 with adapter that is fantastic for shallow DOF selective focus and also for low light/work.  Add $105 to the T1i price.  This lens is in mint condition.

Also add a 55-250mm EF-S IS lens for $195.  This lens is in almost new condition and has only been used 3 times.

Reason for selling is simple.  I have a 7D and just got in a 17-40 L series zoom and the T1i will likely sit in the safe from now on.  The T1i is a fantastic lightweight DSLR that takes great stills and the video looks super plus a reasonably modern dual core computer can keep up with editing the 1280x720p files.

PM if interested.

The Canon T1i with 18-55mm "kit" lens and the 50mm f1.8 Nikkor lens are both sold.
