I found a rather nice LED light on eBay last week that comes out of Hong Kong with my kinda price ticket...AUS$ 68.00 !!!  I bought one as it has a 126 LED array and comes with a fully adjustable hotshoe mount and has a diffusion filter plus a 3400K filter on it.

The power supply is also multi-choice!! It can use 6 x Ni-Mh AA rechargeable cells OR any Sony NP battery OR they supply an adaptor to take Panasonic CGR style batteries like the DVX100 uses!!!

I tried the demo download of Neat Video and it worked great. The demo version only does a 4:3 and watermarks it.  To purchase the home use version is $49 and the pro version is $99.

Before I dish out the $100 (which is legally what I would have to purchase), is there a free plug-in out there that will work with Adobe Premiere Elements?

For some time I've seen many people struggle with getting good audio from Mixers etc into their camera. Last year I was asked to present a session about "Understanding Audio for Video" for the local video club, and the following is an excerpt from that presentation. It is mostly on general concepts, rather than specifics, but I trust this will help some to have an understanding, and then at least be aware of what the problems are (and what needs to be done to overcome them)...
