Hey Shaun
Welcome back to the wedding scene..I know it's your "thing" but to my eye the shots are way too contrasty for me... the skin tones are almost orange and most shots for me are very underexposed too ..our was it just YouTube's rendering.  You got some nice shots there and really captured the moment. No offence on my own opinion ...just my personal taste for natural colour...I did a wedding with a custom scene file a few months ago and the people during speeches also had high contrast and very dark skin tone so I never used it again.
I'm sure the bride will love it..very cinematic!!!

Hi Shaun,

Nicely shot and edited, but I have to agree with Chris and say that, for my taste also, it is too contrasty and saturated.

But, hey, it's a matter of taste and it would be strange indeed if we all agreed all the time.

I am a bit confused, don't I remember you saying you'd sold the wedding video business?

Good to see you posting again.

Dave

Just watched the video.

It looks to me like most of the interior shots were intentionally shot back lit with windows or doors so I think it's just part of the cinematic look. It certainly looks more cinematic (like watching a movie) which is Shaun's style.

I am also seeing a lot of orange/red in the faces on my computer screen but that may not be how it is on the DVD.

I know that this "look" usually appears much cleaner on a television vs. YouTube on a computer monitor.

Very dramatic/cinematic feel, Shaun. You have an eye for getting these shots!

I must admit here that yes, I think I went overboard on the sats and contrast. I used the Magic Bullet Mojo preset and added a vignette but because I already have a pretty contrasty preset in my scene file, so adding the MB preset has pushed it way too far. I might have another play with it.
