The Brevis Depth of Field Adapter

Some of you may know or know of Dennis Wood, the founder and president of Cinevate.  Dennis developed the Brevis DoF adapter as a hobby project then, later, turned that hobby project into one of the highest quality, most desired DoF adapter, and accessories, in the world.

Dennis has agreed to allow me to stream one of the videos he created about the Brevis.  I\'m trying to convince him to share even more because I think it would be insightful for you even if you have no desire to ever use such a product.  Knowledge of the physics involved in making these adapters would help you understand your own fixed-lens camcorder better.  And, in the knowledge, make you a better videographer. Dennis mulled over my request and made all his informative videos available to the public:

Amazing how far Dennis has come with this video thing in a few short years. I remember when I first got my GS400 in 2004 and Dennis was just another poster with a 400 recording sailing events. Now he owns a company that makes 35 mm adapters, dollies, and a seemly ever growing list of high end video accessories which he sells the world over. A very inspirational story in my opinion.
