Latest Video: The Christmas Story
« on: December 15, 2010, 02:51:19 PM »
Hi everyone

I just uploaded our latest endeavor:

The Christmas Story

I looked all over for music on line then realized I had some Christmas songs on BackTraxx and did find another that was offered free for use. Pictures were tough to find also. Finally found some public domain and a great  subscription resource for Christian images. I spent more time looking for cutaway images than shooting and editing  :(

Thanks Dave and Granpa B for watching. Also thank you to those who sent me private emails.

My wife, Cherrie, also appreciated the comments.
She asked me, "What did your friends on Camcorder User say?"

Thanks again guys, I'm never comfortable posting videos with religious content on video forums, but you guys have been very respectful to both my wife and I.

We appreciate it.

I echo Brian and Dave, Tom.  Nicely shot and edited.  And, your talent did a marvelous job with the script!

Congratulations and Merry Christmas!

Thanks, Guy for the nice comment.

We have it posted on a couple non-profit org sites, Cherrie's website, and several video sharing sites. Starting Christmas day it will be posted on a denominational website as well.

We will have visitors after the first of the year so our studio will have to be taken down and made back into a bedroom. We may go back to on-location shooting again like we did in the beginning.

I sure liked working in a "controlled" environment, but location shooting was fun too.

Thanks again everyone and enjoy the Holiday Season.

Hi Tom,

Very nice video and well edited.
Its nice to hear stories like the birth of Christ even if we’ve heard it a thousand times before.
I always think Americans have nice voices but Cherrie has an particular interesting voice, the type of voice that makes you picture the event in the story.

Happy Christmas to you both
Barry

P.S did she use a teleprompter ?
